Boemil Twin Topleus
Topleus got a new home
Welcome to our family Boemil Twin Topleus. We are happy to announce that Boemil Twin Topleus is the newest member of our team.Thank you Emilio Boniperti for giving us the oppertunity to own such an amazing stallion. Topleus is now owned by Samuel Schmid and Daniel Schmutz from Switzerland.
He will be standing at Schmutz Quarter Horses in Switzerland. He’s going to comeback to the NRHA Competitions with his trainer and owner Daniel Schmutz. Sure that there are still frozen semen of topleus available. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to breed a mare to topleus to get your next champion.
Boemil Twin Topleus was born on March 21st, 2005, at the farm of his owner, Emilio Boniperti, that “ideated” and “created” him on purpose for reining. As a matter of fact, both the sire Topsail Speckles and the mother Boemil Valentwin belong to him, and being a veterinarian Emilio took care of the conception personally. Boemil Twin Topleus is so a son of Topsail Speckles, one of the best offspring of Im A Topsail Cody (AQHA), and of Boemil Valentwin, a great daughter of Taris Valentine (AQHA). Boemil Valentwin is out of Pepita Tec, Emilio Boniperti’s first Appaloosa mare that, back then, was a good reining mare with an excellent bloodline. Boemil Valentwin, on her side, was not a lucky mare because an early injury prevented her from showing her talent in the show arenas. Turned into a broodmare at the age of 4, she anyway proved her value by producing the new star in the reining appaloosa industry.
Boemil Twin Topleus is a lively and athletic horse. He has a nice conformation and a very strong structure, with perfect bone diameters and straight legs. The young champion gained early fame thanks to his predisposition towards reining and his brilliant sliding stop style. With proper training his spins also gained visual attractiveness taking him to gain credits up to +1, in both manouvers, in all of the shows he’s attended until now. His talent allowed Boemil Twin Topleus to get a great show record. He was the winner of the first ERAA (European Reining Appaloosa Association) Futurity at Americana 2008, while at the IRHA/NRHA 2010 Derby the brilliant score of 219 made him go-round leader in the Intermediate Open class. At the 2011 NRHA/IRHA Maturity Boemil Twin Topleus was Level 4 and 3 Open Co-Champion and Level 2 Open Champion, writing history as the first appaloosa ever to win a NRHA Special Event in the Open Class.
From a genealogic point of view, Topleus represents the result of more than 15 years of selection. He combines beauty, power, athleticism, and predisposition for work. He was born and raised in the great paddocks of his breeder and, at the age of 2, he was noticed by Alessandro Milani that started training and showing him from the beginning. The goal is to achieve other important results with Boemil Twin Topleus, first in arena and then as a sire. This stallion could truly write a fundamental page in the history of the Appaloosa reining industry.
